Color Roads: Toddler School Curriculum

My husband and I have a 19 1/2 month old son name Obadiah. We began to do a semi-structured tot (toddler) school curriculum with him when he was about 15 months. Obadiah loves it! He even wakes up going to his "activity drawer," while reciting letters and numbers. It is all learn through play. This week we did a lesson I titled, "Color Roads." I simply got a card board box, cut it into 4 big pieces (smooth any sharp edges) and created roads with crayons. One red road, blue road, yellow road, and green road. Obadiah has toy cars (he looooves cars), of each color. So I would just say,"Obadiah, can you drive the red car on the red road like this? Look, we are driving the red car, on the red road! Vroom!" And so on and so forth. If your child loves cars like Obadiah, they will enjoy this fun and simple activity!

We're Back!

Hello everyone! Welcome back :) I know it has been a while since we last blogged. So much has changed, and for the good. We're happy to announce that our tutoring season has begun. We tutor k-12 in the San Fernando Valley area, by appointment only. If you're interested in receiving tutoring for your child/student; please email us at kingdommindsyouthdevlp@gmail.com

Kingdom Minds Youth Development

KINGDOM MINDS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION
Is a faith based non-profit organization that provides organized sports, recreation and educational services to children, youth and young adults.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to utilize wisdom and love to accommodate the educational and recreational needs of children. By sharing the knowledge that we possess to help develop Kingdom Minds with in our children and to build a successful foundation that will prepare children to exceed the expectations of many.

OUR GOAL

KINGDOM MINDS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION'S main goal is to bring youth to Jesus first. Being Kingdom Minded is essential to establishing and maintaining a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. as well as teaching them the word of God, how to have a relationship with God and how to maintain a righteous life style (according to the word of God).

If we teach our youth the importance of having a relationship with Jesus Christ, they will be able to better understand what the church is for.

Our goal is to cultivate the gifts that are in young people.
In today’s society we have young people that have never accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. They are lost, dazed and confused. Well, now is the time for them to become KINGDOM MINDED, living out their potential and serving God until they are called to heaven.
